Nestled on a hillside -- two blocks from the center of town -- The Manor Inn provides a perfect spot for a busy weekend of West Virginia activities or a few
days of total relaxation.
The house itself was built in 1874 as the home for the mayor of Bath, Alexander T. Sloat. A second empire Victorian with twelve foot ceilings, French doors and
a mansard roof, The Manor Inn has been recently restored throughout. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Homes.
During the summer or warm days, rock on the broad Victorian porch with a cool drink, or curl up in front of a fire in the parlor when the weather is cool. For
a week or just a night, you'll find the Manor Inn a warm, special place to visit again and again.
